In 2 Timothy 1:6–7, Paul reminds Timothy to “stir up the gift of God” within him. The calling was already there, it just needed to be activated. So many people carry gifts and callings that have been buried under fear, disappointment, or doubt. But God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
